Account Deletion Request
At Phonoverse, we respect your right to control your personal data. If you wish to delete your account, you can do so by following the instructions below.
⚠️ Important Notice: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Please ensure you have backed up any important information before proceeding.
How to Delete Your Account
Method 1: Through the Phonoverse App
- Open the Phonoverse mobile application
- Navigate to Settings or My Account
- Scroll down and select "Account Settings"
- Tap on "Delete Account"
- Follow the on-screen confirmation steps
- You will receive a confirmation email once your account is deleted
Method 2: Email Request
If you prefer, you can send an account deletion request via email:
- Send an email to: info@phonoverse.in
- Subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
- Include your registered email address and phone number
- Provide a brief reason for deletion (optional)
- Our team will process your request within 7-10 business days
What Happens When You Delete Your Account?
Data That Will Be Deleted:
- Personal Information: Name, email address, phone number, and profile details
- Account Credentials: Login information and passwords (securely erased)
- Preferences: App settings, saved preferences, and customizations
- Wishlist & Cart: Saved items and shopping cart contents
- Communication History: Chat logs and customer support conversations
Data That May Be Retained:
For legal and business purposes, we may retain certain information:
- Transaction Records: Purchase history, invoices, and payment records (required for tax and accounting purposes)
- Legal Compliance: Data required by law for fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or regulatory compliance
- Warranty & Support: Product warranty information and service records
- Anonymized Data: Aggregated analytics data that cannot identify you personally
Account Deletion Timeline
- Request Submission: You submit your deletion request via app or email
- Verification (1-2 days): We verify your identity to ensure account security
- Grace Period (7 days): Your account is deactivated but can be reactivated if you change your mind
- Permanent Deletion (7-10 days): After the grace period, your account and personal data are permanently deleted
- Confirmation: You receive a final confirmation email once deletion is complete
Before You Delete
Please consider the following before deleting your account:
- Active orders or pending deliveries will need to be completed or cancelled
- Outstanding warranty claims should be resolved first
- Any store credits or refunds will be forfeited
- You will lose access to order history and invoices
- Your phone number and email may be used to create a new account in the future
