A phone sold person to person is sold as it is. Condition is whatever the seller says, and there may be no way to return it.

Buying from a business

A business checks the phone, repairs it where needed, cleans it, and sells it with a stated condition. On Phonoverse that condition is a grade from S1 to S5.

What to look for

• A clear grade for every phone.
• Honest notes about damage.
